HOW IT WORKS

What do you have to dye?

​

We offer a wide array of dyeable merchandise, some of which rotates seasonally. Items regularly offer include: Sweatshirts, sweatpants, t-shirts, hoodies, cropped hoodies, turkish towels, scrunchies, bandanas, baby onesies, and dog outfits!

How does it work?

 

Open Events Schedule: We have tickets for all ages until 5:30 PM and then transition to an adult-only experience from 5:30 PM to 10 PM.

Booking Options

There are two ways to book with us:

OPEN PARTIES - For regular scheduled events, you can easily purchase tickets for your group through our online booking system at TipsyTieDye.com/join-us.

PRIVATE PARTIES - Please arrange by phone to secure your private time slot. Note that private events do come with a price discount, but have a minimum spend requirement to rent the space as private- $500(which includes up to 10 basic tickets included) for events Tues/Wed and $750(which includes up to 15 basic tickets) for events Thurs-Sun and come with a price discount. Ticket Options

Our open event parties offer two ticket options:

BASIC TICKET: $55, including choices of dyeable merchandise and a two-hour event.

PREMIUM TICKET: $65, which includes the same as the Basic Ticket, plus a party favor tie-dye glass for each guest.

Merchandise Included: With both ticket options, you can choose from "pick 1," "pick 2," or up to 4 mix & match merchandise items. Examples include sweatshirts, t-shirts, scrunchies, masks, and more. Additional pieces can be added a la carte.

What’s the difference between basic and premium?

​

Both packages include choices of dyeable merchandise, assistance with tieing, and use of our dye-dispenser taps to pick your custom colors to dye with! The Premium package includes our souvenir tie dye silicone cup for you to take home with you or include as a party favor!

Is it a formal class?

​

No. This is an interactive, lively party where people are encouraged to have fun while making their own tie dye styles! We instruct throughout the event to help YOU make your vision. We show you basic to intermediate methods that everyone from 6 to 96 can do by themselves with zero stress and zero mess! :)

How long does it take? Does it take the whole time?

​

We set each booking window for 2 hours and in our open events we have limited reservations available so everyone has more than enough time to tie dye and enjoy! Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons are the best times to walk in wanting to get in and out, you’ll be through in a jif! If you get creative or want to sit back and enjoy your drinks, you will have 2 hours to do so!

Do you have alcohol on tap?

​

No! We are a BYOB only location. Any taps you may see on our website or from outside are from our Dye Bar. Our dispenser-style tap handles allow customers to mix and create endless combinations of unique colors to dye with. Just don’t drink them!

What can we bring for BYOB? Can we bring food?

​

Wine, beer, liquor are all alright! We have fun souvenir tie dye wine, rocks, and shot glasses for your BYOB in house or to take home with our premium ticket. You are welcome to bring food too! Please keep in mind unless you have a private party booked, you may be sharing the space with several others so please be mindful (no one wants your fried-fish catering for 4 people sitting out, right?). Forgot your bottle opener? No problem! We have bottle openers and wine keys readily available.

Do you have events for children?

​

Of course! We have open booking for children and family from 12-5. Find your​ ​preferred booking window with Teeny Tie Dye and bring the kids!

Do you do corporate team events?

​

Yes! We can do corporate events both during the day and evenings, please contact​ ​us using the email contact page or call us in the store to book.

​

Are there any age restrictions?

​

We welcome anyone of all ages into our doors, however being able to tie dye may​ ​be another matter. We find our first ages that are able to engage and enjoy our​ ​activity are about 4yo. Please note all​ ​children need parental or guardian supervision, for both open and private bookings.

Do you do off site parties?

​

Pop up parties are in our bones! We started Tipsy Tie Dye in homes, bars,​ ​restaurants, and boutiques all over, so we are perfectly capable of bringing the​ ​party- although please note we do have higher minimums for off-site events. If you​ ​want to have an off-site event but are under these minimums, we still have other​ ​alternatives for at-home parties such as our DIY Party Kits which are great for​ ​at-home parties and gifts!

Do you do virtual events?

​

We do them virtually all the time! This day and age, everyone is spread out in​ ​different​ ​states, homes, offices, etc and online together. We send our DIY Party Kits​ ​to your off-site locations along with options of add-on dyeable merchandise, and​ ​then Zoom our way to a great virtual event!

How does pricing work? What does it include? What do I get for what price?​ ​Can I bring my own items?

​

Of course you can! If you prefer to reuse, recycle, and remake your own favorites​ ​into new tie dye fashions you may substitute up to three of your own garments in​ ​substitute for our in-store merchandise included in your ticket price. Make sure they​ ​have a high cotton content and they’re of a reasonable size. Example: If you bring​ ​in your comforter that is not a reasonable size…. We will still let you dye it but there​ ​may be a premium charge added for oversized items. Please call ahead if you​ ​have questions regarding the size or cotton content of your items.

How does washing work?

​

You can either take it home the same day or utilize our wash and dry service. The​ ​provide the care instructions for at-home care, which are to rinse in a non-dyeable​ ​sink under cold water at least 12 hours after take home, cut the rubber bands, and​ ​put in a washing machine ALONE on cold with detergent. You may use fabric​ ​softener and dry as you prefer. If you do not want to wash them yourself, we’ll take​ ​care of it! Our wash & dry service is $7.50 dollars per piece, where we carefully​ ​process each item so it's ready for pickup within a week of your attendance.

Should I worry about ruining my clothes or dyeing my hands?

​

We provide gloves and aprons, and these are required for all guests to wear​ ​anytime they are handling dye in order to prevent any mess of any kind! We do​ ​recommend you don’t wear anything irreplaceable, as we are not responsible for​ ​the loss of personal items and as these are dyes being used, but that being said with​ ​the use of gloves and aprons as well as our mess-free setup there is a low risk​ ​to staining.

Do you do custom pieces?

​

If there is a piece you’re just DYEING to have (get it?) we can make it for you! Come​ ​by the store or give us a call and we will discuss the best way to create what you’re​ ​dreaming of!

What’s the difference between a private party and a group Tipsy Tie Dye event?

​

We suggest private parties for larger events or situations where you don’t want to​ ​be around anyone new… don’t worry we’ve all been there. These reservations​ ​require booking with our Tipsy Tie Dye Team separate from our listed Tipsy Tie Dye​ ​times available online, and while the per person cost is the same there are minimum​ ​purchase requirements to book the space for private events. Both our open and​ ​private event options are fun filled and perfect for a party!

When are the kids times? 

​

All ages are welcome to join our open bookings from 12:30 to 5:30pm Tuesday through Sunday. Unless the kids are in a private event, kids and adults may be present during our all-ages time slots! Don’t worry, adults are still BYOB.

Do you provide protective equipment?

​

We provide a clean and professional tie dye experience, but tie dye might get messy if you decide to get messy too! We provide aprons, gloves, and coverall tees to protect your best outfits.

Can I bring my own items to dye?

​

Rather than choosing from our dyeable merchandise, you are welcome to bring up to 3 of your own items. Please make sure they are above 60% cotton and that they are reasonably sized. These items are subject to our approval.

Should I book a private Party?

​

If you have 10 or more guests, you may want to make it private! There are minimum spends for weekdays and weekends to make the place all yours! Color your party your way!

Do you require adult supervision? 

​

Our kids parties require some adults to remain during our kids events to make sure everyone is safe and respectful of the retail environment. The adults are still BYOB but please keep a watchful eye on the kiddos. Also, supervision doesn’t mean you have to pay for tickets- if you aren’t participating, there is no charge!

Can I bring kids?

​

Do you have parking? Are there more locations?

There is street parking readily available, but if you prefer lot parking there are lots nearby including the Path parking a couple of blocks away.

Does everyone have to have a ticket, even if they are not participating?

​

Child supervision doesn’t mean you have to pay for tickets- if you aren’t participating, there is no charge! But please note that all attending during our adults only times must have a ticket.

What is the difference between Teeny Tie Dye and Tipsy Tie Dye?

​

Teeny Tie Dye tickets are for our all ages(kid) only available during our fun time blocks, Tipsy Tie Dye is the adult ticket.

​

​

Do you have black garments for bleach reverse tie dye?

​

We have the reverse tie dye for sale in our retail section, and with our totally customizable dye colors you can make a similar look as well.

Do you offer specialty classes for other things?

​

CANCELLATION POLICIES

(Public vs Private)

Cancelling PUBLIC Bookings:

​

Our In Studio and Live Streaming events are highly memorable, live experiences. In order to provide you with a premier service, we have a firm no refund policy. Because the health and safety of our customers and employees is paramount, if you cancel more than 24 hours before your scheduled event, we will reschedule you at that time for the make-up session of your choice that occurs within the next thirty (30) days, pending availability. Please note – only one reschedule of this type will be granted, a second cancellation, even if it is within thirty (30) days will result in the forfeiture of your ticket. If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled event (including those bookings made less than 24 hours before the start of the event) or fail to show, you will not have the option to reschedule.

Due to the nature of our custom events, our policy is no refunds, no credits and no option to reschedule.

​

Tipsy Tie Dye reserves the right to cancel events for any reason. Registrants will be notified prior to the event’s start time and refunds will be processed accordingly.

​

Cancelling PRIVATE Bookings:

​

Private events (both in-studio and virtual) are among our most memorable and personalized experiences at Tipsy Tie Dye, and require large inputs of our staff’s time and effort to organize. As such, there is a firm no refund policy on events booked at Tipsy Tie Dye. If you cancel 7+ days in advance, we will reschedule your event within thirty (30) days, pending availability. If you cancel within seven (7) days of your scheduled event (including those events booked less than 7 days in advance), we will reschedule your event within the following thirty (30) days, but such changes will incur an additional $125 facility fee. Events cancelled less than 24 hours prior to their scheduled time will not have the option to reschedule and will forfeit the entire cost of the event.

​

Private events under the above policies are permitted one (1) reschedule. Any additional cancellation, even if made within the time frames set out above will not have the option to reschedule and will forfeit the entire cost of the event.

​

Private parties scheduled less than 7 days prior to the scheduled date will be subject to the same policy written above.

​

​Tipsy Tie Dye reserves the right to cancel events for any reason. Registrants will be notified prior to the event’s start time and refunds will be processed accordingly.

Running Late and Arriving Early...

What if I am running late?

​

You may still attend the session, however, the session starts promptly at the scheduled time you signed up for. This may result in an incomplete Tie Dye. Please be advised, we do not offer a refund or a reschedule in the event you are late for your session.
